That's kind of the premise for Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World, the bizarre new comedy-drama starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley about a giant asteroid (Matilda) speeding towards Earth and bringing with it total destruction. Naturally, the apocalypse brings with it many changes, not the least of which is Carell's character seeking out his long lost high school sweetheart with the help of Knightley. The first trailer is here and, frankly, it looks pretty great, helped along by a strange tone that definitely sets it apart from all those other 'End of Days' romantic comedies you've seen lately. Is that even a genre yet?
