The BWA wishes to inform customers in some St. John and St. Andrew areas currently experiencing a water outage or low pressure that the problem has resulted from a leaking valve on a 10-inch main in Glenburnie. The main in question burst and was repaired over the weekend but developed a leak on a valve subsequently. Work crews are making repairs.

The areas affected may stretch from Foster Hall in St. John to St. Simons in St. Andrew and include Bathsheba, St. Elizabeth Village, Cattlewash and Belleplaine.

BWA personnel are also repairing a 3-inch burst in Lamberts, St. Lucy and investigating reports of a suspected burst on a main in Chalky Mount, St. Andrew.
