Red Advertising Recognises Power of Youth, so adds Pair to its Creative Line-up

Red Advertising and Marketing has further strengthened its team with the addition of two young graphic designers, Matthew Clarke and Zoya Shepherd.

Jevan Jutagir, Managing Director of Red today commented on the two appointments,

Both Matthew and Zoya are bright young stars who add a more youthful and tech savvy perspective to the already strong creative line-up at Red. Matthew carries broad experience having worked at several agencies and clients. However, it was his active involvement in illustration, graphic novels and gaming that really attracted us to him as we felt this would deliver a fresh and different edge to our work. Between 2002 and 2007 he won multiple awards at the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA), including 4 Gold and a Prime Minister’s Scholarship. His mother is also the well known Barbadian artist, Ann Dodson, so he comes with a fine pedigree.

Mr. Jutagir went on to comment on Ms. Shepherd’s appointment,

I first ran into Zoya when I was her external examiner at the Barbados Community College and was extremely impressed by the quality and freshness of her design work. Hence, we were delighted when she applied to join Red and feel she will grow into a serious talent in Red’s creatively demanding environment. Matthew and Zoya represent an important investment in Red’s future. We never want to get old and complacent, hiring the best new talent and nurturing them creatively will ensure we never do!
