The spirit of Christmas filled the Combermere Hall and thrilled the crowd as yuletide classics including, “Joy to the World“, “The 12 Days of Christmas“, “O Holy Night“, “Christmas Rhapsody” and other seasonal standards were played by the Band with their usual flair and vibrant musicality.

Their interpretations of modern standards such as “Santa Baby” also delighted everyone, as did their rendition of Red Plastic Bag’s “Maizie“.

One of the high points of the night was the harmonious tones of the St. Christopher Church Choir as they joined the Police Force Band performing, “When I Kneel at the Manger” and “The Cradle Rocks in Glory“.

At the end of the evening President of BARP Edward Bushell thanked everyone who had participated in the concert, as well as all those who came out and supported the event making it such a success.
