Royal Barbados Police Force locate corpse of Identical Twin: Patrina Lorde murdered – UPDATED

Officers on their grim task in a part of the land-locked parish (St Thomas) which was far from being content that rainy night

Blackberry was playing fool again (Digicel still sorting out bugs to transfer to 4G frankly, I think more problems are caused then solved, but that’s me) so I missed a text at Midnight saying how poor Patrina was found in St Thomas in a canefield…

Also saw an update from Barbados Free Press, but the Nation & Barbados Today disagree on certain aspects of the former LIME employee’s passing… There is a reason, but momentarily we’ll reveal why, this is Fontabelle’s edition;-

Police have confirmed that Lord’s body was found around 9 p.m.

The 31-year-old woman was missing since last Wednesday.

Police discovered the body and are currently on the scene.

Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch said a man is assisting with investigations

The former Alexandra student at her prime - the Bajan Reporter's sympathies are with not only her father and their family, but her grieving BF

Meanwhile the Warrens outlet started by a former Nation employee had this to say;-

Sources said, however, investigators did not just happen upon the body, but were led there by credible information and that the decomposing body was found about 200 metres from the main road just short of 9 p.m.

Lord, 31, of Pearl Drive, Lodge Terrace, St. Michael, left home around 1 p.m. last Wednesday for work and just disappeared. The twin sister of the former student of the Alexandra School, Patricia, had been appealing for information that could assist police in finding her.

Tonight, though on the dark and cold content road, where the only light was from the moon and the occasional passing vehicle, family members expressed horror at the turn of events, as they openly shed tears.

Unconfirmed reports are that two persons are assisting police with the investigation.

The Bajan Reporter sought to clarify by going directly to official sources, according to Insp. Welch – there’s one suspect in custody and two people have been held for questioning, we hope there’s a swift conviction and even swifter set of justice than what pertained for the instigators of last year’s Campus Trendz tragedy, where one of the two on a technicality remains in remand only.
