The Detectives attached to the Southern Division have made another breakthrough into a series of burglaries that were committed in the Oistins and Enterprise communities in Christ Church.

The mentioned persons are accused of committing burglaries to a Café and business stalls in the affected areas; one was committed in the month of April and the others between the months of September and November 2011.

The following appeared at the Oistins Magistrate Court yesterday where they pleaded guilty to all their charges. The subsequent results were laid before the accused who then were charged as per listing:

1. Darnley Victor Sylvester Sandiford, 20 years of Pegwell Bogs, Christ Church was sentenced to 18 months in prison;
2. Corey Jamar Coppin, 25 years of Lead Vale, Christ Church was sentenced to 9 months in prison;
3. Jamar Antonio Maloney, 19 years, of Hothersal Turning, St. Michael, and Neville Rico Romero Cox, 19 years of Chapman Lane, St. Michael were both granted bail to return to Court on the 18 November 2011, pending a probation report.
