Barbadian Police defuse Bomb Threat, charges laid: Meanwhile- Sermac Diversion remains in effect, please observe new routes!
Police have arrested and charged Peter Carlos Hinds, 54 years of Lot 18 Homestead Drive, Frere Pilgrim, Christ Church, for the offence of Disorderly Behaviour regarding the following information.
On the morning of Sunday 27th November, a call was received by a Telephone Operator at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of a bomb threat to the Hospital. Police resources were mobilized to that institution, and after a thorough investigation, no explosive devices were found. As a result the subject was charged.

PUBLIC APPEAL
Due to ongoing work at the Sermac Laundry on Baxters Road, which was damaged by fire, barricades and caution tape have been put in place to safe guard the general public. We are appealing to pedestrians not to pass beyond the barriers of their own safety. We are requesting that they seek alternate routes.
