Barbadian musical landscape & the world received a new taste of the work of one of its best Jazz vocalists

Kellie Cadogan‘s single “Don’t Panic” is a Contemporary Acoustic Jazz piece with an inspirational message that is very necessary in these tough times. The song was written by Kellie and produced by Shane Forrester who also play the guitar tracks on the single and is joined by Barbados’ best percussionist – Wayne “Poonka” Willock.

The material is fresh, catchy and complemented with very tasteful scat delivered by Kellie. The comments on Facebook are very positive, “great sound” ‘amazing”, “my goodness…I love this…”, “Fantastic”, “the more I listen the more I am liking it” and “as expected…top notch”…and the list goes on.

Kellie’s single launch will take place Monday 5th December at Divi Southwinds, Christ Church, Barbados.

Kellie’s first album “The Nearness of You” was released in 2009. Since she has been honing her own talent as a music entrepreneur. She balances her performing and vocal training career through her business East Point Productions Inc.

  1. Greetings to those who control this page. Whereas I thank you for your very kind title of “Barbados’ best percussionist”, I would also appreciate the correct spelling of my name “WAYNE” and not “WANYE”.
