Barbadian Artists on show at BCC from award winning tour

The work of three local artists will be on display when The Caribbean Pavilion: Barbados Artists at the Liverpool Biennial officially opens in the Barbados Community College’s (BCC) Morningside Gallery this Friday 2nd December.

On that morning, the National Art Gallery Committee will also facilitate a ceremony for the opening of the Caribbean Art Documentation Centre in BCC’s main library and there will be a presentation of educational materials to public secondary schools, tertiary institutions and government ministries/departments.

Barbadians may view the exhibits which were produced by Ewan Atkinson, Ras Ishi Butcher and Ras Akyem-I Ramsay from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. until Friday, December 16, while the materials in the documentation centre will be available to all students and members of the public for reference only, from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (DATA COURTESY: SA/BGIS)
