The Barbados Water Authority carrying out investigations into water outages in St. Andrew

The Barbados Water Authority informs customers in some St. Andrew districts between Baxters and Trio Path who may today Wednesday, October 6th still be suffering a water outage that its investigations into the source of the problem continue.

Work crews are presently on site carrying out a number of checks and this will continue until the problem is resolved. In the interim however, the Authority has made some adjustments to its distribution network to bring water into the area via another means and reduce the number of affected households. Water tankers have also been dispatched to assist persons in the affected areas.

Meanwhile, the BWA is also today carrying out repairs to an 8-inch main in Hothersal Turning, St. Michael which is affecting customers in Hothersal Turning, Jackmans, Friendship and the immediate surrounding areas.
