Bermuda’s North Shore scene of Double Shooting, 2 men under Treatment

"On Wednesday, a man was shot at on the South Roundabout on Trimingham Hill. He was not injured and police have arrested a man in his 20s in connection with the shooting." A Bermuda Sun reader comented - 'What is happening to Bermuda? 5 Shootings in a week! Time for the Government to take draconian measures to stop this nonsense.'

Bermudan Officers confirmed two men were hospitalised after separate incidents on North Shore Road, it appears the first shooting happened on Friday night when police there probed a road traffic accident in Hamilton parish;-

A police statement said inquiries determined that the collision occurred following a confirmed firearm incident where a Pembroke man in his 30s sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

As a result, officers cordoned off the scene and conducted a thorough search of the area. At 3:20am, a Devonshire man in his 20s was shot outside of the Gravity Nightclub and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police cordoned off the area and conducted a thorough search of the area and found items which will be forensically examined.
