Spoken Word Poetry this weekend in Hastings: IRON MIC launches this Saturday!

Iron Sharpens Iron celebrate Saturday September 24th, the official international day of poetry, with the combination of lyrical titans! Featuring dynamic spoken word artists Adrian Green and D.J Simmons going back and forth in poetic tag team and the spontaneous word wizardry of Sunrokk, Rhy Minister, Wesu Wallace and Daveny Ellis!

This brand new Open Mic flows with the familiar energy of a Talk Hard and a Mic Check in one vibrating vibe. Pass through and DO YOU! All talent is welcome! You know how it is already family.

Also this Sunday September 25th come to Gun Hill from 4pm to the NCF Monthly Read In! where Katherine Felix will be the featured performer. And please note those of you who have registered in the Performing Arts of NIFCA doing spoken word, the prelims are going to be held this Thursday from 5 - 8pm at the Steel Shed.

The event will be held at poolside in the romantic atmosphere of the Pirate’s Inn located in Browne’s Gap, Hastings, Christ Church.

With the launch of this powerful event we have partnered with the lovely ladies of Ecstasy In Motion as they host the open mic serving up a sexy, sensual spin on the evening! All pieces of this steamy theme are heavily encouraged…
