Hilarious Reality Show to promote Barbados to youth globally
“Realityweekends.com” is a comedic reality show which focuses on general areas of interest among teens to young adults in the region (college/university, partying, video gaming, activities, etc).
The first official season’s episodes themed Barbados ON are coming to television in the region within the next few months, These episodes comprise of hilarious street interviews, pranks, stunts, and a “Hot Seat” segment. The ‘Hot Seat‘ takes the format of an interview/discussion sit-down with trending artists, actors and young, talented entrepreneurs.
Richie Quintyne, former web developer gone avid film maker, decided to follow through with his ideas of creating a funny everyday simple show for his Facebook friends but has recently focused his sights to the professional market and overall wider viewing audience.
In the first phase of airing some short clips on YouTube and Facebook, Realityweekends videos and their Youtube channel received over 100,000 video views globally. Some videos such as “Viral video – KFC VS Chefette” ,” Sexy Barbados Lovers are Xtreme” and “Barbados Tourism show – Drexel College New Jersey” received high video views and growing daily. He has produced around 20 short online videos on youtube with his friends and now plans to take the show forward with his film partner Graham Cumberbatch.
Realityweekends.com has recently partnered with the CaribVision Television Station. CaribVision is an informative lifestyle channel broadcasting a variety of culturally rich and entertainment programming which includes news and current affairs, sports, drama and lifestyle shows. CaribVision currently airs on cable systems in 20 Caribbean countries and territories including Barbados.
