“Cheers To 50 Years!” Banks Invites Barbadians To Celebrate A Milestone

The unmistakable Banks Beer bottle, which has been winning the hearts of drinkers at home and abroad for five decades

In celebration of its 50 years of brewing success Banks (Barbados) Breweries Limited is saying thanks to its many loyal customers by inviting them to “Cheers to 50 years” with a one day only, back in time, 50 cent beer promotion.

On Tuesday September 6, 2011, the 50th anniversary of Banks Beer being brewed on the island, Barbadians and visitors alike can enjoy an ice cold Banks Beer for the amazing “back in time price” of 50 cents in commemoration of the 50 years the world class lager has been in production.

Being dubbed a “National Day of Cheers” the promotion entitles every Barbadian over the age of 18 years to a Banks Beer at the discounted price once they present the specially designed coupon available in the press on Tuesday, September 6 at participating retailers.

Brewery Manager, Akash Ragbir, said since the Brewery opened its doors on September 6, 1961, Barbadians have been at the heart of the development of the company and its flagship brand, Banks Beer:

In light of this and the great achievement of reaching 50 years of brewing success, a milestone only shared by a handful of local companies, we want to give our loyal customers an opportunity to share in our success, and celebrate with us. So we invite every eligible person to get coupons, available in the press, and enjoy Barbados’ Beer for just 50 cents.”
