Update – Water returns to areas impacted by lightning strikes on BWA facilities

The Barbados Water Authority is pleased to inform the public that problems experienced at a number of its facilities resulting from lightning strikes during the inclement weather on Saturday, September 10th have been resolved.

BWA personnel have completed repairs and water supply was returned to all affected districts. These included the following;- Frere Pilgrim, Watts Village, Boarded Hall, South District, St. David’s, Dash Valley, Ellerton, Carmichael, Cox Road, Edey Village, Buckley, The Ridge, Dayrells Hill and surrounding areas.

Should there be any customers or districts still suffering outages at this time please inform the Authority by calling 434-4292. The BWA will endeavour to assist by tanker while it investigates.
