Sports Minister of Barbados launches Draft Pick by Owners at Party Stand, Harbour Road for LIME Pelican Football Challenge

The historic draft pick of the LIME Pelican Football Challenge Barbados takes place today, Sunday 14th August at the Party Stand on the Harbour Road from 5:00 p.m.

President of the Barbados Football Association Ronald Jones will deliver the feature address, while the ten participating team owners will select players from a draft pool of some 300 BFA – sanctioned footballers.

The LIME Pelican Football Challenge Barbados is the most highly anticipated football tournament in recent times, with the largest prize purse in history: $100,000.00, winner takes all.

All players registered for Sunday’s draft pick are reminded to be at the Party Stand on the Harbour Road by four o’clock that afternoon.
