“Runway 4” – 2nd annual fashion and music Gala on South Coast next Month after Kadooment

Runway 4 was created in Boston, Massachusetts back in November 2010 by fashion designer Morella Frederick a native of Barbados living in the USA, Morella saw the need to incorporate undiscovered and professional models and artist of all ethnic backgrounds, sex and sizes to showcase their talents.

The show donates all profits to charity; last year’s event was a huge success and the proceeds were donated to Rosie’s Place – a sanctuary for homeless women in Boston, MA.

John King - first emerged as Johnny Ma Boy with "All Hands On Deck" then adopted his own name and also earned a Crown with "I Want A Plantation"

On August 20, 2011 Runway 4 All will be presenting their 2nd annual fashion and music Gala at the Savannah hotel near the popular Garrison racetrack in Christ Church, entry is $40 Bds in advance while $50 when bought at the gate, Doors open at 6:00 pm for a cocktail and networking hour an opportunity to meet Ms USA Latina and Ms Sr Massachusetts,the Gala itself starts at 7pm, the theme for this year is “A Royal Affair.”

Keavin Javon is one of the models brought in for the 2nd Anniversary of Runway 4, taking place at The Savannah hotel in Hastings, Ch Ch.

Those attending must dress to impress, they will be a silent auction and many door prizes, proceeds from the event will be donated to the family care center of the AIDS foundation of Barbados. The retinue of fashionistas totals 25 including Ms Sr Massachusetts, Ms USA Latina, US fashion designers, makeup artist, hair stylist and models.

Entertainment is Barbadian with former Multi-Calypso Monarch John King, fashion designer Glen Genki Brathwaite and Precious Butcher – an upcoming violin artist and your impresario, Morella – a Bajan designer living in Massachusetts.
