The double-disk anthology makes for the 15th Anniversary of Monstapiece, however, if you expect a plastic case or one of those environmentally friendly cardboard sleeves? Forget it, think again… Mr Corbin says VIP guests have an even more technologically and further environmentally friendly way to receive a copy of the album {CLICK ON FOLLOWING LINK FOR FULL AUDIO};-

The album will be presented to VIP’s in the form of a Download card, while Early Bird tickets end Friday 1st July, $175 for Ultra-Premium VIP which includes Drinks & Finger Foods, all Digi-Centres across the Island are some of the ticket venues where people can buy their Entry.

The reason of doing a single anthology with at least 38 tunes was due quite simply to avoid duplication {CLICK ON FOLLOWING LINK FOR FULL AUDIO};-

Alison Hinds and Machel Montano HD usually end up doing Guest Appearances on each other’s disks, this year it was decided to reduce budgetary considerations by having an audio merger of the pool of resources available, according to Kerry Alleyne of La Familia productions who’s assisting Monstapiece in coordinating “Soca Titans“.

The event’s popularity led to a change from the BTII car park on Bay Street to Fontabelle at what is usually cricket’s Mecca (since costs must be earned back from renovating Kensington, their management known as KOMI for short has rented the place out for concerts and even football matches to recoup investments more quickly from Cricket World Cup 2007) {CLICK ON FOLLOWING LINK FOR FULL AUDIO};-

The previous event at BTII’s car park was so over-subscribed they immediately considered KOMI since they already used it for Christmas parties as well

Machel, as many Bajans are aware, is no stranger to Kensington Oval - he is expected to deliver another high-voltage performance!

Kerry Alleyne reminded the press this show is not for children and Brian Corbin confirmed no one under 18 is allowed… La Familia’s Alleyne confirmed which Bajan, Trinidadian and Caribbean performers will appear at Kensington Oval on Saturday 16th July {CLICK ON FOLLOWING LINK FOR FULL AUDIO};-

Peter Ram, Skinny Fabolous, Alison Hinds, Edwin Yearwood, Machel Montano, Gorg, Lil’ Rick are some of the regional and local acts confirmed, as more entertainers indicate if they can perform in the tight schedule allowed they are to be announced.

There are also plans for La Familia and Monstapiece to coordinate the 5th edition of “Naughty And Nice” at the Oval for this Christmas season.
