THREE BRITS CHARGED IN RELATION TO A FIGHT ONBOARD A VIRGIN ATLANTIC FLIGHT ENROUTE TO BARBADOS
The following persons have been arrested and charged for the offence of ‘disruptive behaviour onboard an aircraft’. These persons were all passengers aboard a Virgin Atlantic aircraft destined to Barbados, and originated from Gatwick, England on June 9, 2011. They are:
1. Derek John George Edmond, 76 years,
2. Zoe King, 46 years and
3. Martin Robert King, 49 years. All British nationals.
On Thursday June 9, 2011, initial information received by the Police, was that there was a fracas was onboard a Virgin Airlines aircraft enroute to Barbados, and that a number of passengers were involved. The flight landed safely at the Grantley Adams International Airport around 2.20 pm. An investigation commenced, which resulted in the mentioned persons being arrested and charged.
