The Pinelands Creative Workshop has once again kindly offered members and associates of the Barbados Youth Development Council an opportunity to participate in a timely career and personal development programme.

The areas include 1) Personal Development Planning 2) Job seeking tools and techniques 3) Conflict Resolution 4) Self Employment 5) Effective Communication Skills 6) Employer/Employee Relations – Understanding your rights and 7) Business Etiquette among other areas.

This comprehensive training programme is geared towards recent school leavers and those youth who are currently unemployed and wish to enhance their personal development.

The Program is being conducted for (3) three weeks from 27th June to 15th July 2011, Monday – Friday’s, 10:00am to 3:00pm daily. Training will be conducted at UWI’s Open Campus, The Pine, St Michael.

There is limited space and those who wish to participate will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in participating please email bydcexecutive@gmail.com no later than Sunday June 26th, 3:00 p.m.

There is no registration fee and participants will receive a certificate of participation once they attend 90% of the classes.
