16 hour gun battle in Utah finds hostage-taker using Facebook
I have seen Twitter and Facebook users tell you when they are “on the throne” (using bathroom) or if they are shopping, washing clothes, or for professional reasons be it to sell classes, sell their car or some books or have a lecture, etc. more and more cases where inmates abuse the system and set Facebook for uses never dreamt of by its creator, Mark Zuckerberg!once Shared a story where a guy in America had a Blackberry and was Facebooking while behind bars, now there are
Case in point? A man remains in critical condition after a heavy gunfight between himself and Police, the reason he’s grievously wounded is self inflicted at his chest area to permanently evade capture, this is not unusual in itself… However, this same man took a picture of himself and the Hostage posted them to FB and also made Status updates while breathing spaces elapsed between volleys at the motel;-
“They shut our phones down but were okay, everyones comments mean alot. But how this ends is on the cops now. And myas they call her is perfectly fine and holding it down wit me.…”
The story made it on the NY Daily News;-
(36 year old Jason Valdez) even got a tip from a friend who posted on his Facebook wall that a SWAT officer was hiding in the bushes outside the Ogden motel.
“Thank you homie,” Valdez wrote Saturday. “Good looking out.”
One wonders if Facebook can be held accountable as an accessory?
