Royal Barbados Police Force urges Motorists and Pedestrians to respect the Roads: Barbados endures 9th Road fatality for the year so far

The ninth road fatality for the year in Barbados occurred about 1.15 am on Monday May 30, 2011.

Kent Smith, 23 years, of Upper Carlton, St. James, died on arrival at QEH after being taken there by ambulance. He was the lone occupant in a motor car which he driving on Bourbon Road, St. Lucy, when he apparently lost control and left the roadway. The vehicle came to rest in a watercourse.

The ninth road fatality for the year in Barbados occurred about 1.15 am on Monday May 30, 2011.

Information indicates that Kent Smith was a soldier in Barbados Defence Force.
