Google,, Navigant and Dell have all signed onto the upcoming Event Caribbean ICT Conference and Exhibition 2011 in Barbados in October

Event Caribbean 2011 ICT Conference and Exhibition, October 24- 26, LESC, Barbados, will feature over thirty world class speakers, over 75 exhibitors and will attract hundreds of ICT professionals from Barbados, the Caribbean and global ICT community

Leading the speakers list will be Google’s Chief Technology Advocate, Michael T. Jones, who’s charged with advancing the technology to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful and travels the globe to meet and speak with governments, businesses, partners and customers in order to advance Google’s mission and technology.

ICT professionals will be treated to a perspective on the ICT sector which is global, innovative, and revolutionary and will provide a blueprint for the Caribbean role in the global ICT space. Gregory A. Garrett is the Managing Director and leader of the Navigant, Inc., Government Services practice headquartered in Vienna, Virginia.

He is an internationally recognized expert in government contracting, risk management, capture management, and program management. He is also an international business consultant, best-selling author of 20 books and 100+ publications, and during the past 30 years, he has managed more than $30 Billion of large complex contracts and projects in both the U.S. government and industry.

Open source computing and its impact on the world will also take center stage with a key note presentation by Peter Coffee, Director of Platform Research at the leading enterprise cloud computing company that has transformed the way companies collaborate and communicate.

Peter has 27 years’ experience in guiding the adoption and management of innovative information technologies and practices as a developer, consultant, educator, and internationally published author.

He is the author of two books, How To Program Java and Peter Coffee Teaches PC’s.
