Delta Petroleum to launch E-Newsletter, number of new initiatives to be revealed
Delta Petroleum through the innovation of its Regional General Manager would be etching another milestone in the company’s history when it launches the ‘Blah Blah Blah’ e-newsletter. This milestone will be celebrated on Friday 20th May 2011 at 11:00 am. The event will be held at the Pasea Service Station.
Backed by the Regional Organisational Manager, Chaunci Cline, the RGM will reveal the very creative full colour e-newsletter which is designed to be disseminated via emails, there will be a number of printed copies. The 24 page newsletter was conceptualised and executed by the company’s Communication’s Department managed by Sales and Marketing Manager, Rawle Nelson.
Explaining the concept of the newsletter, Sylvester said that in his attempt to further educate and sensitize the public on petroleum related issues noting that while his competitors have not seen the need to educate, he believes that empowerment can only come through educating his customers. The e-newsletter dubbed ‘Blah Blah Blah’ gears at informing both staff and customers on promotions, activities, events, news and other details regarding the company which was founded in 1985.
The RGM stressed that the e-newsletter is about being informative and educational noting that readers would certainly love the information. “It is highlighting the various islands that Delta Petroleum operates in so as to inform them all about what the company continues to do. We have been focusing significantly on our community efforts in the various islands that Delta petroleum operates in and we intend to continue giving back as we believe that through our community enhancement and youth development we will create a better society for all,” he said.
“The establishment of the Blah, Blah, Blah will afford us all an opportunity and avenue to share information about Delta Petroleum such as, new industry standards, community enhancement projects and internal customer highlights that showcases staff and performance initiatives. The Regional General Manager added that the newsletter is geared towards ensuring the company’s message is available to all. He said the unveiling of the e-newsletter would certainly start a new chapter in the company’s life adding that the next step in a technology-savvy era for the effective execution of a creative, innovative and competitive marketing strategy.
Meanwhile, ROM Cline pointed out that the e-newsletter is expected to serve its intended purpose. “More and more persons are using the internet and therefore, we sought to explore the most popular medium that will allow Delta Petroleum customers to stay connected and informed through the e-newsletter.”
Cline added, “We are determined to remain relevant and creative which gives us the bleeding edge in the region coupled with the dynamic leadership of our Regional General Manager, we remain confident that the messages will reach its target audience.”
