Central Bank to Host Two Know Your Money Seminars in Bridgetown
Barbadians will once again be taught how to protect themselves from counterfeiters when the Central Bank of Barbados hosts two Know Your Money seminars on Friday, June 3, 2011 in the Grande Salle of the Tom Adams Financial Centre. The first session will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the second will take place later that day from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“We decided to have two seminars this year to allow as many people as possible to attend,” explained Cleviston Haynes, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank. “We want to ensure that Barbadians are able to quickly and accurately authenticate the banknotes they receive.”
Both sessions will be conducted by Matt West, Regional Manager for De La Rue, the company that prints banknotes for Barbados and for more than 150 territories.
Know Your Money is free of charge and is open to the public.
