The outfits were drawn directly from counterparts in Africa and Barbados is the only other Regiment to carry such outfits

1. This capation in incorrect. The Bands’ Correct name is the Barbados Defence Force Band, there is no “Royal” in the name, and Zouave is the name of the uniform they wear and not part of the band’s name. Also, the Jamaica Military Band ALSO wears this uniform. (the only TWO to do so).
