Sean George Ivanhoe Whitehead, 28 years, of #53 Long Beach Estate, Christ Church, was arrested and charged for the following offences which occurred on Thursday 10, March 2011, whilst at a residence which he rented at Wotton Plantation, Christ Church, after a search warrant was executed there by members of the Drug Squad.

'One firearm and eight pounds of cannabis were found.' According to David Welch – Insp; RBPF Public Relations Officer

One firearm and eight pounds of cannabis were found. The illegal drugs was composed of 65 cannabis plants found growing outside the residence, and quantities of loose and dried stalks of cannabis found in the house.

1. Illegal possession of a firearm (AK 47 rifle)
2. Illegal possession of 24 rounds of ammunition

3. Illegal possession of cannabis
4. Trafficking
5. Possession with intent to supply
6. Cultivation
7. Illegal possession of an apparatus

Another search warrant was executed at his residence at #53 Long Beach Estate, Christ Church, and 20 gms of cannabis was found. As a result he was arrested and the following charges:
1. Illegal possession of cannabis
2. Trafficking
3. Possession with intent to supply

He is expected to appear at the District A Magistrate Court on Saturday March 12, 2011.

FRAUD CHARGES

Attorney-at-law Norman Leroy Lynch 61 years, of Grassfield Gap, Martindale Road, St. Michael, was arrested and charged for 12 offences, which include Theft and Money laundering.

He is expected to appear at the District A Magistrate Court on Saturday March 12, 2011.
