7th Annual Dennis Ziadie Cup Moves to Miramar’s Ansin Park – March 26th, 2011

The 7th Annual Dennis Ziadie Cup soccer match between the Jamaica College Old Boys Association of Florida and the St. George’s College Old Boys Association of Florida moves to the state-of-the-art for Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida. The game will take place at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 26th, 2011. Last year’s match drew over 1000 spectators and supporters from the Caribbean community.

It is a beautiful facility that comfortably meets the needs of our prestigious and highlighted weekend event, 2011 Dennis Ziadie Cup”, said Adrienne “Addy” Chin-Ogilvie, Chairperson, Public Relations officer, the Convent of Mercy Academy (Alpha) Association, Inc , “It is centrally located to the Caribbean community which has the advantage of attracting and accommodating more spectators within the South Florida region.

The Ansin Sports Complex sits in the heart of the City of Miramar in Western Broward County, with easy access from all major thoroughfares. This 24-acre property stands as a testament to engage the greatest sports entertainment enthusiasts with its soccer /football field, (3) basketball courts, (1) netball court, concession stand, 2nd floor press box and cricket batting cages.

The Ziadie Cup soccer match will be played in Ansin’s grandstand stadium which has a seating potential of over 5,000 spectators.
