United States Signs Secure Seas MOU with Dominica

U.S. and Dominican Coast Guard boats.

On January 27th, the U.S. and Dominica signed a memorandum of understanding for the Secure Seas agreement.

The signing of this MOU will facilitate the implementation of the Secure Seas Program which will enhance mutual cooperation in the fight against illicit trafficking.

This cooperation is a continuation of the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative. The Secure Seas Program will provide maritime equipment and training to the Dominica Police Force.
