TT’s Soca Monarch finalist fires up fetes on the road to Fantastic Friday
There seems to be no slowing down for one of the Soca industry’s top singer-songwriters. Nadia Batson aka ‘Miss B’ who recently qualified for the finals of the International Soca Monarch has certainly made her presence felt since the beginning the long, hectic season. For the love of performing for her fans she has no intention of slowing down the pace.
Most recently Miss B alongside an all-star cast of top-ranking female Soca stars paid homage to the Calypso Queen herself, “Calypso Rose”. She followed up this musical tribute with outstanding performances at events such as Girls Gone White, Yorke Inc’s all-inclusive and ‘Ladies Night Out’ and she encouraged people to fete for a cause at the annual ‘Blood Bank Fete’.
Most notably, Nadia had government ministers, attorneys and corporate executives breaking loose with her appearance at the popular ‘Fete with the Saints’ Carnival affair.
Nadia has been receiving warm receptions from audiences nationwide.
Her energy and enthusiasm onstage truly pours out to the patrons of each event she ignites. Though she is one of most booked artistes for the season as solo act and as a member of Kes the Band, Nadia is never too busy to greet any of her supporters. She has been able to strike a balance with her personal and professional life in between gigs, rehearsals and countless media appearances.
Before the season comes to an end Soca fans will get a chance to see their favourite ‘Caribbean Girl’ performing on various stages including Army Fete, Friends to the Max all-inclusive, Bacchanal Wednesday and Tribe Ignite.
As it pertains to the International Soca Monarch finals, Nadia will perform her hit “We Nah Leaving” with Patrice Roberts and will do a feature appearance on Tallpree’s performance of “Lighters”. She promises to deliver awesome, entertaining and dynamic presentations.
