Delta Petroleum Motorists promises Triple Gas Value, while annual staff dinner to be held – By Rawle Nelson

February 14 has been designated Valentine’s Day and is being celebrated in most countries in the world. Traditionally, it is a day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending cards, offering assorted confectionaries and presenting flowers, among other tangibles and gestures.

The company’s Regional General Manager, Bevis Sylvester giving an example of the promotion said, if a customer makes a gas purchase of US$40, he/she would receive US$120 worth in gas.

This day creates high expectations and excitement for many. It also causes many lovers to ponder over the type or form of gift that is appropriate for the one they love, as well as the cost of it. However, one company would be using the day to express their love and appreciation to its many customers.

Delta Petroleum BVI, in its continued effort to express its appreciation and thanks to its customers, has announced its Valentine’s Day promotion. The promotion is geared towards offering drivers triple the value for any gas purchase that they make on that day. It has been dubbed Blah, Blah, Blah.

Delta Petroleum would be using this promotion as a way of demonstrating its love to its customers, by putting money back into the pockets of our customers. We know that Valentine’s Day is symbolic with love, so that is why we here in the BVI would be putting monies back into our customers’ pockets, as we love them,” he said.

Sylvester said that customers wearing red are also guarantee a discount when making purchases of gas.

Meanwhile, he said that his company would be hosting their annual staff dinner in the evening. The auspicious event is slated for Serene Vistas Tower, and seeks to recognise a number of outstanding employees for their contributions and performance over the past year.

He said that the annual event, which is usually held during December, have been moved to Valentine’s Day this year for a number of reasons.

The Regional GM disclosed that Leroy Moses would be recognised for his 25 years of service. He added that a number of other awards are expected to be made to employees who have performed well in 2010.

A US$ 500.00 award would be presented to the most improved staff in fiscal 2010.
