Fielding Babb’s name is synonymous with iconic images of the Barbadian landscape. He is a visual historian, who captures our fading and ever disappearing Barbadian landscape.

On Feb 12, 2011 Aweipo Gallery will exhibit selected recent works from this founding father and 2003 recipient of the Lifetime Award in the Visual Arts.

In this show entitled “Palette Knife”, Babb has revisited some of the popular landscape scenes that he has become well known for, and has also captured some of the Crane Resort, along with glimpses of local culture.

Palette Knife will open on Feb 12 at 5pm. The exhibition runs until March 5, 2011 . Aweipo Gallery is open 10 am to 6pm daily.
