Kicks and Cuffs like Peas! USD $50-thousand at stake: Caribbean Amateur Fighting Championship

Dear Masters in Martial Arts,

The Caribbean Kickboxing Grappling San Shou Federation, CKGSF, is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its first Caribbean Amateur Fighting Championship in Trinidad and Tobago from August 18th to 21st 2011. You and your fellow students are warmly invited to participate in our grand Mixed Martial Arts Event of the Caribbean, along with teams from 28 Islands.

The 2011 CKGSF Caribbean Amateur Fighting Championship, will afford all persons in the 15-17 and 18 to 34 years age category, with a genuine desire to compete in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts an opportunity to earn a shot at 9 prestigious Amateur Caribbean Titles. This event is carded to ba an annual event and the 9 champions (Title Holders men in the 18-34 category) will be awarded a Contract for one year in which CKGSF will pay for all travel (from native country) and accommodation to compete in CKGSF events in Trinidad and USA.

Persons wishing to register online can do so on our website from 31st. March 2011. Hotel information will also be available on our website in March 2011.

Also all Title Holders from this event who are 18 years and over will be given preference to compete in the 2012 Caribbean Professional Fighting Championship where over US$50,000.00 in prizes will be awarded as well as over nine (9) prestigious Professional Caribbean Titles.

Please note that registration is on a first come first serve basis, once the weight category is filled, no more applications will be accepted. There is a maximum of 16 competitors per category. Accepted athletes will be published in our magazine as well as on our website.
