Bridgetown to “Come Alive” on Sunday 5th December – Was it Dead before?

BRIDGETOWN will truly come alive with a combination of vibrant commerce, colour and entertainment this Sunday December 5th, as part of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s 185th Anniversary ‘Bridgetown Alive’ event.

Scores of stores and restaurants throughout the City have come on board to be part of this massive all day family affair, to offer members of the public a wide range of discounts on a myriad of items, from clothing to electronics and much more.

No invoking of the Undead here - Live entertainment (as opposed to say a "zombie" band) will be ongoing at different points throughout the City, as the event runs from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

There will be with a jumping tent and other attractions for children at Heroes Square and around the City, making it a fun day for people of all ages.

As an added convenience, shoppers will be able to leave their vehicles at the multi-storey BTII Car Park at Princess Alice Highway and use the popular solar powered shuttle to get to various stores around the City.

Is the Chamber having any part of its celebrations where Bajans directly benefit from the Anniversary? Since it's Christmas-tide, will there be any gifts for adults & children alike?

With the Christmas rapidly season approaching, Bridgetown Alive will certainly help to set the tone for eager shoppers, as the Bridgetown business community does its part to give something back to consumers.
