Barbados Yellow Pages Paints the Town Yellow
In the coming months Barbadians will be seeing “yellow” when the Barbados Yellow Pages’ “Paint the Town Yellow” campaign is rolled out across the island.
The “Paint the Town Yellow” campaign, the first of its kind in Barbados, features the placement of bold, bright images at varying locations around the island, highlighting some of the service categories listed in the Barbados Yellow Pages which are relevant to everyday living.
Pam Roach, Marketing Manager, said the new campaign is aimed at enhancing local awareness of the value and ease of use of the Barbados Yellow Pages:
“There are three convenient avenues for customers to access the Barbados Yellow Pages. In addition to the traditional print form, which most people are aware of, Barbados Yellow Pages is also available on-line and through mobile services. Thus more customers can utilise the Barbados Yellow Pages anytime, anywhere, when they want to quickly locate a particular product or service. Businesses who are not listing with the Barbados Yellow Pages are missing out on a lot of potential customers.”
Three bus shelters located near 9th Ave. Pine Road St. Michael, in front of Crystal Cove Hotel in Appleby, St. James, and opposite Mama Mia’s restaurant on Hastings Main Road, Christ Church are already outfitted with the innovative “Hello Yellow” message, highlighting ‘Opticians’, ‘Pest Control’, and ‘Restaurants respectively’.
In addition to the bus shelters, the campaign also embraces several other applications around the same theme including snow cone carts, supermarket trolleys, fence signage and promotional surf boards. Additionally, a crashed car, promoting insurance and wrecker services will also be on display during the creative campaign conceptualised by Red Advertising & Marketing Ltd.
