VETERAN BARBADIAN ENTERTAINER TO BE HONOURED THIS NOVEMBER, IN NEW JERSEY

Mr Stoute is also popular for his Capricorn fetes in Barbados at the beginning of each year

Richard “Teen Talent” Stoute has been selected to receive the 2010 Barbadian of Distinction Award from the Barbados-American Charitable Organization of New Jersey, Inc. (BACONJ).

The organisation chose the popular singer for his “… selflessness, dedication, commitment and service to the community,” which they outlined was a prerequisite for this award.

The non-profit group saluted Stoute as a leader and a true example of the organisation’s motto “Together we aspire, Together we achieve”.

BACONJ is a Plainfield New Jersey group of concerned individuals, who for over 30 years have been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others anywhere in the world.

They contributed to Barbados itself many times, most notably  in the area of providing dialysis and ventilator machine to the QEH.
