Barbados hosts Native Nations Dance Theater at UWI’s Cave Hill Campus

First of all? Profound apologies on my side, here in Caribbean we have Delroy as a regular name a lot, especially in Jamaica… However, this is? Delwin Fiddler Jr., Chairman of NNDT

Delwin is seen here with Vegan/Attorney Lalu Hanuman showing him tips how to improve his performance of the Hoop Dance. This Hoop Dance shows three hoops held one over the other, "as the earth below, so the heavens above," this is to also show Community Spirit as all watch over each other and hear what other members have to say.

Delwin was born in Rapid City, South Dakota. Delwin is a direct descendant of Chief Elk Head and Chief Sitting Bull. Delwin graduated from the hospitality trade from Job Corps in Philadelphia, PA. He also attended the PJA school in the accounting program. Delwin has been chosen to be head man dancer at many powwows around the country. He has also been instrumental in securing health & educational services for Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (CRST). Delwin also appears in the film “Who We Are” now showing in the Lelawi Theater. Delwin is a world class grass dancer, plays the flute & performs the hoop dance.
