International Brand Ambassador & Mixologist for Mount Gay rums, Chesterfield Browne, is one of the four finalists from across the globe to be considered for the inaugural Golden Rum Barrel’s, Global Rum Ambassador of the Year Award.
This is a magnificent opportunity for not only Browne but also for Barbados and our tourism product because brand ambassadors command huge audiences when they travel across the world providing Browne with an excellent opportunity to expose his guests to much more than the story of Mount Gay rum but also to the history, heritage and culture of our island; making all in attendance potential travellers to Barbados.
This week, Barbadians can help our country create history by voting online for Browne, who has been nominated for the Golden Rum Barrel Award which is the first internationally recognised award for rum ambassadors in the world.
The award recognises ambassadors who tirelessly promote their brand, while training, inspiring and educating the trade industry, as well as discerning consumers. Thus, Browne’s nomination attests to the fact that his work is being recognised and accepted world wide.
