The Bajan Reporter, Barbados’ premier Web Magazine, operates under new dedicated server for benefit of increased readership!

The Bajan Reporter's site crashed because of 6,000 unique visitors (not hits) in 12 hours on top of the regular 3,000 per day... Now, we're back on a dedicated server just for ""

As Barbados Free Press correctly indicated – the Bajan Reporter (BR) was out of commission for a few days, this was due to 6,000 unique visitors on top of the regular plus-or-minus 3,000 per day BR usually gets!

In other words about ten-thousand people swarmed in BR in less than a 24-hour period and suddenly? BOOM!

Not unlike Timex’ old slogan, this Web Magazine took a lickin’ and kept on tickin’ (It was not easy – especially with a slightly temperamental webmaster justifiably annoyed at the confusion, now with an arm’s length of recommendations for me to review, phew!), also still looking at increasing the Ad Space for extra clients…

So here we are again, grateful for your support and also alerting those among you who need some server space to holler at me and we can crunch numbers…
