St John residents can expect water service to resume Tuesday evening – Barbados Water Authority repairing bursts in St Lucy, St John & St Joseph
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for these disruptions in service.
The Barbados Water Authority informs the public of the following burst mains it has sustained today Tuesday, 5th October:
- a 3-inch in Cave Hill Drive, St. Lucy
- a 4-inch in Vaughn’s Road #1, St. Joseph and
- a 6-inch in Cliff, St. John
These bursts are affecting customers in the immediate surrounding areas only. The Authority is also investigating reports of two suspected bursts in Suriname, St. Joseph.
Pumping at the Bowmanston station resumed at around three o’clock this morning and water supply to the affected St. John districts is expected to return gradually during the day.
