‘In The Eye of the Storm – a Business and Barbadian Consumer’s View of the Global Economic Recession’ by Dr Justin Robinson, Cave Hill’s School of Business

The Chamber’s Business luncheon will take place on Wednesday, October 27th at the Barbados Hilton.

Major issues of relevance and timely importance to local consumers and business persons alike will come to the fore when the Barbados Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) hosts its October Business Luncheon.

In The Eye of the Storm – a Business and Consumer View of the Global Economic Recession’ will be the main topic of discussion for the luncheon and the Chamber has invited Dr. Justin Robinson, Head of the Department of Management Studies at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies, to share his perspective.

Dr. Robinson’s address comes at a time when the ongoing recession has been taking a toll on both consumers and business persons in varying degrees. There is, therefore, a need to better understand the realities and challenges that confront both sides.
