Highlights from an important recent seminar where it shows that if the Tudor Street fire was handled differently it could backfire in Barbados’ good reputation as a Tourism destination.

Carrole Guntley – Jamaica’s Director General from their Tourism Ministry shows that when disaster strikes that sometimes nudging local and overseas media may be necessary to save an island’s reputation which is its sole bread & butter…

St Lucia & Anguilla are the only other caribbean islands with low murder rates apart from here, if we are going to avoid becoming Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad with high crime - we need to make the economy a better place once again so robbery and its other consequences is not seen as a first alternative, but only as a desperate measure of a cornered rat
