The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience caused.

The Barbados Water Authority informs the public that pumping from its Golden Ridge Station has been affected between yesterday and today Monday, September 27 because of low reservoir levels.

This has caused residents in Horse Hill, Suriname, Hackleton’s Cliff, Lammings, Sugar Hill and surrounding areas in St. Joseph to suffer low pressure or water outages as a result. The Authority has dispatched water tankers to assist the affected residents while the problem persists.

The BWA is also carrying out repairs to a 4-inch burst main in Parkinson Field, the Pine, St. Michael which has affected the surrounding district including the Parkinson School. It is also conducting investigations into a reported water outage in the area of Barrows, St. Lucy.
