Barbados-Based sci-fi videos 12 Week run of 1 minute “minisodes” has been completed for the webseries “Dominion”

Dominion webseries from Flyin’ Monkey Films has ended the promotional 12 episode run of their “minisodes”. These minisodes were 1 minute shorts set in the world of Dominion and followed a number of storylines that culminated in the revelation of one of the major characters and revealed an ongoing plot that will play into the main episode storylines. The 12 minisodes have been released over the past 3 months as production on the series begins in the New York City area. While the minisodes for Dominion were mostly filmed in Toronto and Baltimore, with the final 2 minute long finale filmed in Hoboken, the remainder of the series will be filmed in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Director and Cinematographer Rodney Smith has utilized a number of talented actors from all cities involved, with each minisode featuring the voice of lead actor Sean Michael Field. Actors Katie Uhlmann, Robert Nolan, Paul Nicholls and BJ Jeroy received a popular response in their Minisodes with minisode #5 “Shimmer Man” and #8 “Turning Points” receiving the highest views on Youtube, Dailymotion and Blip.tv. Minisode #12 “Only Human” starring Maia Nicholson, Tony Clomax and Cheyanne Racey has also proven to be a particularly highly anticipated and viewed minisode.

With most of the 1 minute storylines resolved, the actual 10 minute episodes will follow the detective “Jeremiah” (Sean Michael Field) as he investigates the disappearance of a woman for his new client “Marco” (Maia Nicholson). The investigation turns dangerous as more supernatural elements are revealed.- such as those revealed in the 12 minisodes. Production on the first six episodes of Dominion is currently underway and is expected to be completed in the next 14 days.

The Dominion webseries stars Sean Michael Field and Maia Nicholson, both of Barbadian descent. Mateo Prendergast, Jaime Lee, Jaimyon Parker, Claudia McLain, Steve Carter, Cheyanne Racey and Jennifer Todoroff round out the rest of the main cast. Theik Smith has also been attached to handle the fight choreography for the series

German Jimenez, Aubry Padmore, Rodney Smith and Sean Michael Field are collaborating as producers on the series.
