A Housing Minister who does not table a document in Parliament for his own defence and a Health Minister who refuses to mediate while Doctors strike and senior citizens wonder if they can survive another day without proper treatment… The David J. H. Thompson regime has sought to defend these measures at last night’s 55th Annual Conference at their George Street Auditorium.
Even the skits were politically charged, there was a multi-media choreography segment from the NCF’s Ian Douglas called “Tribute 2 D” a review of the career of David Thompson, this brings to the fore whether or not the Prime Minister will indeed return from his illness only to declare the seat for St John as open to a by-election?
Then two Cabinet Ministers came to the fore and defended their colleagues in a show of solidarity while admirable, yet remained questionable in light of the severity of the shortfalls from both the Health & Housing Ministries… Here’s most of what John Boyce and Ronald “Wadadah” Jones told the audience;-
