US author of  Still Life with WoodpeckerTom Robbins – once said, “It’s raining Coke bottles and bananas…” It sure seemed that way here in Barbados on Sunday 4th July – maybe it was fireworks in America but here it was time to rent boats, according to the MET Office a Trough was bringing thunderstorms and did it ever!

There were two events scheduled for last nite but they got rerouted due to the bananas and Coke bottles… Celebration Time‘s Tent Launch is now Tuesday 6th July at 7:30 pm at the Plantation Garden Theatre.

While the Crop Over Visual Arts Festival is now slated for Wednesday 7th July at 6:30 pm in the Grand Salle of the Tom Adams Financial Centre.
