Crop over is for everyone. That is why the last Friday of this month, on the 25th of June, The Surfers Café will be showcasing Mrs Roots Rock Jazz herself, Blak Kla’ Soyl.

In such a festive season, everyone should be happy, and though soca and calypso are mainstream at this time, we still have the right to celebrate.

If you did not get a chance to see her at the London Elite night, COSCAP Foundation, or the reception party for the opening of BMEX, then make your way down to Oistins Main Road before nine.

This is a time in life to break barriers and make bonds. This is a time that everything should be taken in every sense of the word. As continent people we always share, and that is the reason for the door prize we give away.

We bond together through music. YOUR GONNA ROCK YOUR BODY. Look out for her new upcoming album…
