{Update #3} LIME Barbados Karaoke Championship: Boys’ Night Out as Men hold Top Spots

The Third Round of the LIME Barbados Karaoke Championship continued last Friday with the men stealing the show convincingly with a first place tie between contestants Kevin Forde and Rolrick Bonnett. Standing like a giant, Forde performed Lou Rawls ‘You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine’, with all the zeal and panache of a seasoned performer. Forde ensured he didn’t have to say goodbye on the night when he harmoniously sang ‘Why Goodbye’ by Peabo Bryson bringing cheers and loud applause from audience.

Radio Personality Cupid is running an On Air Karaoke Competition on VOB 92.9 FM during his Friday show where persons call in and sing a song live. The best two are chosen by call in vote to Cupid and preregistered for the following week’s LIME Barbados Karaoke Championship. His first winner Marlyn Lawrence, who is visually impaired sang as sweetly as she did on air showing why call in voters to Cupid ranked her number one. Supporters from the visually impaired community came out including songstress Anna Beckles who shook her hips and dynamically broke down Aretha Franklyn’s R.E.S.P.E.C.T to the delight of all.
