Contestants will be chasing a purse of $5,000.00 for the overall Winner, 2nd prize earns $2,500 while 3rd pulls $1,500 but each of the ten finalists will receive an honorarium of $500.00 each. Preliminary singers will do a song, if they reach the next round, then 2 songs are expected while Semi-Finalists have 3 tunes but Finalists will have to belt four songs each, this won’t be a brief session!

Ruel Ward from Pyramid Entertainment says that portions of each round will be aired on Pyramid’s youtube channel.

Unlike many karaoke venues, competitors can actually submit songs they wish to tackle, according to Mr Hoyos {CLICK ON LINK FOR AUDIO CLIP};-

In addition to the monies, sponsors will also be donating prizes for entrants and winners, the Main Winner will also get the right to record a song with Pyramid Entertainment and have appearances with the Plantation’s “Golden Oldies” night in addition to the super-popular “Boogie Nights” back-in-time Disco session. Consideration is also being given for a “People’s Choice” for competitors who may not necessarily qualify, but are very memorable in their delivery.
