Bridgetown Burning 2010, WANTED – Corporate Sponsors! Fans increasing as Sport lacks correct Regulation Gear

KKS (2)Ronald Phillips, Rollins Alleyne and Vincent Smith are true uphill fighters, they believe what they’re doing and will continue even if they are armed with pea-shooters against cannons! This year’s edition of Bridgetown Burning had this Web Magazine as a co-sponsor but our assistance could not do what was really needed for the event…

Proper ring with appropriate padding, comfortable seating for fans, parents and friends of combatants, a public address system with equaliser for full stereo sound when rallying the audience to applaud after a bout, and so forth. These guys had little to use but much to offer, unlike the situation where a Polo Club advertises on a media outlet known for ignoring the equestrian event (I am sure the lack of Polo coverage on any day, today or otherwise, is on a manpower basis, not any reasoning which may be construed as racial). Where is the sense in that? Stay with who supports you!

Which is what this Web Magazine did, and the first thing we noticed is the dedication from both patrons and participants, despite the facilities needing a bit of a spruce up…

I would have stayed longer, but my batteries gave out and my spares were home! Plus, there was an Art Show to head off for as well – but not before we caught some of the action, as soon as the full list of winners becomes available then we’ll post it right here!
